What does it even mean ?

A classic English style Barleywine in all its glory – rich malt complexity, restrained hop presence, depth of character and decadent mouthfeel. We matured this half in brandy barrels, and the other (Barrel of Dwight Fry) in port wine barrels.

What you need to know though

Golden Promise and Pale Ale base with a touch of chocolate and red crystal malts underwent a long boil to develop a rich and complex character, aged in brandy barrels for 12 months Deep brown in color, full bodied with a velvety mouthfeel, boozy and sweet, caramel and brown sugar with notes of dates, figs, dried fruit, and a hint of oak on the nose.
