Keep the ironic, metaphorical, lyrical, poetic, pretentious names away from this one. This no nonsense beer is exactly what it says on the can. A bitter. In honour of the bitter drinkers of Britain and beyond, drinking their bitter to ease their bitterness, only to wake up more bitter.

What you need to know though

English style bitter 4.5%. Golden Promise, Premium English Caramalt and Golden Naked Oats with Fuggles and Goldings hops in the boil. Dark in colour, smooth, creamy body with a caramel sweetness and despite its blunt name, only a subtle hop bitterness to balance the malt sweetness.
