If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry, as the old adage goes and we certainly don’t want your tears here. We’ve brewed this misery busting brew with our friends on the high coast. We’re actually not as partisan as all our West Coast propaganda might suggest. We hooked up with the High Coast distillery to slow roast some Imperial stout in their finest used whisky casks. On a cute non-essential note: Now empty, they’ve since returned to their ancestral home and are lying in the cold, full of whisky again.
Imperial stout aged on High Coast Distillery whisky barrels for 12 months, 13%. Nine different malts come together for an intense character of raisin, chocolate, oak and of course, High Coast single malt whisky.
